The City of Spring TX is located just North of Houston and south of both the Woodlands and Conroe in the greater Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metro area. The city is located along I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road as they make their way into inner Houston. The city is largely residential and great for families, students and professionals alike as it offers convenient access to much of the Houston area and the suburbs to the north. The city is served by the Spring Independent School District which includes several school campuses for all grade levels. Higher education is readily available either via the Lone Star college system or major universities in the Houston area.
The Spring area is a very laid back part of the greater Houston area and is comprised of several neighborhoods and apartment communities. Street after street of beautiful homes can be found at almost every turn in the city. This area is a retreat from the busy inner city atmosphere to the south and provides a great place for professionals who work in surrounding areas to raise families or students to live on a more manageable budget than in downtown Houston. The areas are well kept, clean, quiet and safe, a great place to call home.
The city is very nature rich and includes 4 large parks and a golf club along the southeastern border. The outer edge of the city limits is bordered by Spring creek. The Spring area also contains a water park called SplashTown Houston which provides hours of fun for families in the summer.
Locals also enjoy Old Town Spring which is an old town area with a large number of boutiques, eateries, and art galleries in the area. Due to its location, Spring is a great place to live, shop, enjoy entertainment and more because everything is just a short drive away.
There are few places with the convenience of Spring paired with the laid back atmosphere it provides, this makes Spring a great place to consider when finding a new home.
