Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX

Frisco Texas is a city located on the north side of the DFW metroplex in Denton and Collin counties.  This suburb is growing at a rapid pace and is home to several sporting venues, an IKEA, and Stonebriar mall.  This is also the future location for the Dallas Cowboys headquarters beginning in 2016. The city is largely difficult to access other than via one of two major toll roads, 121 or the Dallas North tollway. The city of Frisco is bordered by McKinney and Allen to the east, Plano to the southeast and south, The Colony to the southwest, Little Elm to the west and finally Prosper to the north. The major roads of Preston Rd, Lebanon Rd, Independence Parkway, and McDermott run through the city.

The city of Frisco is largely upscale and somewhat secluded from the rest of the metroplex by design. It has a self sustaining luxurious city suburban environment with trendy boutiques and shopping centers at every turn. The neighborhoods and apartment communities in the city cater mostly to those of a higher income bracket. Frisco is a location where many successful professionals live, work and play just out of reach from the larger city nearby. The nearly exclusive use of toll roads makes it difficult for those of lower income ranges to commute to and from the area which can even cause working in the area to be somewhat difficult if you do not live in Frisco as the toll fees can quickly accumulate.

Frisco is home to multiple sporting stadiums such as the Dr. Pepper Ballpark, the Dr. Pepper Arena, and Toyota Stadium. Each of these venues cater to different sports respectively and are home to either minor and major league teams of their respective sports.

Whether you wish to enjoy great shopping and dining at Stonebriar, enjoy a sporting event at one of the sporting arenas in the area, or wish to enjoy some other great amenities provided by a very self sustaining, rapidly growing suburb then look no further than Frisco. This is a great place for professionals and families to live and grow.
