The City of Coppell is a beautiful city in the north central portion of the DFW metroplex. The city is located in northwest Dallas county east of Grapevine, southeast of Flower Mound, south of Lewisville, southwest of Carrollton, west of Farmers Branch, northwest of Dallas, north of Irving, and northeast of DFW Airport. While the far north portion of Coppell is served by Lewisville independent school district and the east portion by Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD the main portion is served by Coppell Independent School district which has exemplary schools and a top rated music program. The city is considered largely to be a bedroom city suburb of the metroplex with its largest emphasis being on homes and neighborhoods. Due to the fact that the area is mostly made up of housing a lot of the dining, entertainment and shopping a resident of Coppell generally does is in the neighboring cities.
Coppell is a family friendly area with beautiful homes at every turn. It isn’t hard to find beautiful apartments in Coppell, in fact it might take more effort not to find them. The area is convenient because it is situated next to highway 121 which offers easy access to Grapevine, 114, and the northern suburbs of Frisco and the Colony. It is also situated with I-635 along its southern city limits which make north Dallas very accessible to residents of Coppell. There really aren’t many locations in the Dallas-Fort worth metroplex with this many major roadways at your fingertips and commuting for school, business, or fun can take far less time than in most areas. You can find a mall in almost every surrounding city and easy airport access is potentially within walking distance with the airport park and ride located on the southwest side of the city.
