Fort Worth Texas, also known as Cowtown or Funky town is one of the largest and most populous cities in Texas. In fact it is the 16th largest city in the United States and is one of the best places to call home in the state. No matter what part of Fort Worth you find yourself in, you can always find great food and entertainment just a stone’s throw away. Fort Worth prides itself in its cowboy heritage being a historic stop on the Chisolm Trail. Every year the Stockyards are opened up for a stock show and rodeo event that occurs between mid January and early February. There is far more to Fort Worth than cattle driving culture, in fact it is a very modern city with far more amenities than most comparable southern US cities.
The city has a thriving downtown nightlife in the Sundance square area and you can enjoy the finest live performances at the famous Bass Hall. During the day the downtown Fort Worth area is home to the roar of thousands of business professionals making their way to and from their offices, grabbing lunch at a trendy downtown eatery, or browsing one of the niche boutiques the area is well known for. The high rise apartments located around Sundance square make for a convenient way to enjoy one of the most walkable and scenic downtown areas in all of North Texas by just taking the elevator down to the ground level and stepping out of the building.
