League City

League City is a suburb of the greater Houston-The Woodlands- Sugar Land metropolitan area. This beautiful city is located partly in Galveston county and partly in Harris county. To the north are the cities of Houston, Webster, Friendswood and Clear lake while to the south is Dickinson. The city is at a halfway point between Galveston and Houston along I-45 and is popular for many waterside resorts along its border with Clear Lake to the north.

This area is very popular because it is a great place to live if you want convenience to Galveston Island. League City has a lot of entertainment available at your fingertips with such locations as the Kemah Boardwalk nearby, the Space Center in nearby Houston, Moody Gardens in nearby Galveston, and much more. The city also has a diverse dining experience to offer with foods from cultures that span the globe and dinner cruises on the bay. There is always something to do in the area because it is so convenient to everything the south Houston and Galveston areas have to offer plus everything in-between.

League City is a very family friendly place to live and is considered one of the best places in the US to look for a job due to the expansive job market in Houston along with its surrounding areas. The commute to locations such as the Texas Medical Center area or Rice University is just a little over a half hour which is very quick. This is a very convenient location also because even a trip to the Woodlands area is on average just about a one hour commute and virtually all of Houston can be accessed in under an hour’s drive. This makes looking for a job very simple because the 4th largest city in the US and its surrounding suburbs are all just a stone’s throw away.
