Webster is an outer suburb of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area which is located south of Houston near the NASA Space center. Webster is located south of Clear Lake, north of League City, east of Friendswood, and west of Seabrook. The city of Webster has I-45 passing through the western side of its borders as a roadway between Houston and Galveston Island. The location is considered to be very convenient because of its location along I-45 which makes it a great place to live for a commute to a job in southeast Houston. Many of the area roads and streets are named after NASA while nearby areas have streets named after planets, spacecraft, and other space themes due to being so close to the Johnson space center.
The area is largely suburban with a dash of rural ambiance in various locations. There are several beautiful houses in Webster along with a number of lovely apartment communities and townhomes. Shopping and dining is available in various parts of Webster with a large amount centered along I-45 especially near NASA parkway where there are multiple movie cinemas and several great eateries along with nationally recognized retailers. North along I-45 there are several more great stores, entertainment venues, and diners to visit and just outside of the city limits is Baybrook Mall. This mall has over 150 stores and restaurants located in Friendswood, TX just along the interstate. Shoppers can spend entire days traversing the I-45 corridor along Webster and just outside because of all it has available. This makes Webster a great place to live because it has the best of suburban life with the conveniences of a larger city.
Whether you want to work a job in Houston or visit Galveston Island just 30 minutes south on I-45 this is a great place to choose for a place to live.
