Farm to Market 1960 is a road which circles the northern Houston area and intersects with outer suburbs. This road spans from Highway 6 all the way past I 69 and Atascocita and ends in the Dayton area. Along its path it intersects with major highways such as 249, I45, and the aforementioned I69 making it a very convenient place to choose a home near. This Farm to Market road also runs along the north side of the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. This road is also known as Cypress Creek Pkwy, Humble Westfield rd. depending on which part you are driving along. The road also splits into a business farm to market road in Humble and rejoins the road just a bit past Wilson Rd.
FM 1960 is lined with beautiful residences, apartment communities, and a wide variety of businesses. Along this road a person can find hundreds of shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and service centers. In the Willowbrook area of Houston along 1960 you can find the beautiful Willowbrook Mall which features well over 100 shops, kiosks and restaurants making this a great place to spend the day.
This roadway is surrounded by several shopping centers to the northwest and as it makes its way toward Humble it largely becomes a bit less developed and stands as a more scenic route along this area until you reach the Deerbrook area along I69. At this intersection you will reach the beautiful Deerbrook mall which houses a few less stores and services than Willowbrook to the west but offers a completely different shopping and dining experience along with a convenient movie theater. Further to the East the road becomes a bit more rural and spans many miles until it reaches the Atascocita area and spurs northeast over Lake Houston. The road continues for several miles through the rural NE Houston area suburbs and ends in Dayton.
This is a beautiful road to live along and entertainment is available no matter which way you choose to go. The road offers convenience and a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere for just about any walk of life.
